Control Inspector to join our team on the day shift. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality of our machined parts and

Responsibilities

» Read and interpret blueprints and specifications for machined parts and weldments.
» Inspect parts accurately and efficiently to ensure they meet quality standards.
» Measure dimensions and tolerances, including run-out, concentricity, flatness, and perpendicularity.
» Utilize measuring instruments such as height gauges, micrometers, and dial bore gauges.
» Inspect incoming materials and purchased parts for conformance to purchase orders and specifications.
» Conduct full inspections of first articles and generate in-process, final inspection, and non-conformance reports as required.
» Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating effective time management and decision-making skills.
» Collaborate and communicate effectively with other departments to support manufacturing processes.
» Maintain accurate and organized inspection documentation in accordance with company standards.
» Assist with setup and qualification of machine tool positioning accuracy and repeatability, with experience in laser measuring systems
considered a plus.

Qualifications

» High school diploma or equivalent.
» Minimum of 3 years’ experience and/or training in a mechanical inspection environment.
» Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
» Proficient in using measuring instruments such as height gauges, micrometers, and dial bore gauges.
» Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) is a plus.
» Knowledge of both Metric and English measuring systems.
» Experience with laser measuring systems is a plus.
» Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
» Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
» Effective communication skills.
» Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
