Axis Ultrasonic Cutter
The model
US-50 ultrasonic cutting machine offers a complete system for
profiling complex core details from sheets of core. Ultrasonic
cutting of core offers a virtual dust free process, while
maintaining extremely tight tolerances on finished parts. The
system is ideal for various types of honeycomb, rubber, B-stage
graphite; laminates, and other materials which require a complex
contour finish. The machine is capable of control depth cutting
to a fixture or flat surface maintaining a Z-axis tolerance of
0.002.
